Personal data that you enter on dutchdigitaldelta.nl, the Government uses only for the purpose for which you have left them. This means that the national government complies with privacy legislation. On dutchdigitaldelta.nl no permission is requested for the use of cookies because they are only used for analytical purposes without the data being shared with third parties. This is the exception under the Telecommunications Act article 11.7A.

How does the national government deal with your personal data?

Would you like to request a brochure? Or receive a newsletter? Then dutch digital delta asks you to fill in your personal details in a form. For example your name and (e-mail) address. The form indicates which data the government uses and for what purpose.

The central government uses your personal data only for the purpose for which you have left them. For example, did you enter your name and address to receive a brochure? In that case, the national government will not use this information to send you other brochures, unless this is indicated.

The data can be used for detection. For example, if offenses are committed through the site or punishable statements are made.

The national government does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which you have left them.

What is the Personal Data Protection Act?

The most important rules for the handling of personal data are laid down in the Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp). The Dutch Data Protection Authority supervises the Personal Data Protection Act.
